Keep from your phone.
Two minutes on Android, two minutes on iOS. Both end with keepthis in your share sheet.
Android
Add keepthis to your share sheet
- Open keepthis.link in Chrome.
- Chrome menu (⋮) → Add to Home screen.
- Confirm. keepthis is now an app.
- From any page: Share → keepthis. The page is kept and you land on it.
You only need to do this once. Sharing goes through exactly the same flow as typing the prefix.
iOS
A Shortcut, in four steps
iOS has no share-target API for web apps, so it takes a Shortcut. Open the Shortcuts app and:
- New shortcut → Receive URLs from Share Sheet.
- Add action URL, and set it to
https://www.keepthis.link/followed by Shortcut Input. - Add action Open URLs.
- Name it Keep this and turn on Show in Share Sheet.
From then on: Share → Keep this, from Safari or anywhere else that hands over a URL.
Optional
A bookmarklet, on a desktop
Drag this to your bookmarks bar. Clicking it keeps whatever page you are on — useful if the address bar feels like too much typing.
Some browsers refuse to run bookmarklets on certain pages. The address-bar prefix always works.
